1991-93 Lee Smith LS

Lee Smith was elected to the HOF in 2018. He was a 7x All star who led the league in saves in four different seasons (1983, 1991, 1992, 1994). His 1991 season was one of the greatest all time for a reliver when he set the singe season saves record at 47. That season he came up second in Cy Young voting only behind Tom Glavine. Offered for sale is an extremely rare 1991-93 Lee Smith game used bat. Lee only recorded 64 at bats during his career with just 2 coming in the 1993 season. I don't think that its a stretch to suggest that this may be the only game used Lee Smoth Cardinals bat in existance. This black Louisville Slugger shows signs of definite game use. The barrel has several stitch marks and there is some grain separation on the back portion of the barrel. Lee's correct uniform number, 47, is written on the knob and barrel end in silver marker. He has also signed the sweet spot of the bat in bold silver marker. There is a PSA DNA sticker on the knob that I believe is for the signature (although I do not have the letter). A really cool bat from one of the all time great relivers
